Welcome to LimeReach. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of limereach.com (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. About LimeReach

LimeReach is a launch board where founders submit their products, and the community discovers, votes on, and comments on launches. LimeReach is operated by CreatedByChris SRL, registered in Bacau, Romania. For any questions, use the contact details in Section 13.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. You sign in via Google or GitHub OAuth, so we don't manage passwords ourselves. You're responsible for keeping your connected account secure and for all activity under your LimeReach account. You may not impersonate another person or entity, or use a username you don't have the right to use.

3. How the Service works

3.1 Browsing vs. participating

Anyone can browse launches, profiles, and comments without an account. Logging in is required to vote, comment, or submit a launch.

3.2 The reciprocity gate

Before submitting your first launch, you must give 3 upvotes and post 1 comment (meeting our minimum length requirement) to other launches. This requirement resets before each subsequent launch, though after your first launch, later launches instead cost Reach (see 3.3) rather than requiring new votes/comments. This mechanic exists to keep the board active and prevent drive-by self-promotion, and it is enforced at the database level, so it cannot be bypassed through the API or any other access path.

3.3 Reach

Reach is LimeReach's non-monetary reputation score. You earn Reach by signing up, giving votes and comments, receiving votes and comments on your own launches, and other actions we define from time to time. Reach is spent to submit launches after your first one. Reach has no cash value, cannot be transferred, purchased, redeemed, or exchanged for money or anything of value, and may be adjusted or reset by us at any time, including to correct errors or abuse.

3.4 Voting and commenting rules

Votes are permanent once cast. There is no unvote feature. Voting and commenting are rate-limited to prevent abuse. Comments can be edited within a limited window after posting but cannot be deleted by the commenter (to preserve the integrity of the Reach ledger and reciprocity gate); if you believe a comment violates these Terms, contact us and we'll review it.

3.5 Self-votes

Your own launch receives an automatic upvote from you on submission. This self-vote is excluded from Reach calculations and from satisfying the reciprocity gate on other launches.

4. Your content

4.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you submit (launch titles, descriptions, comments, profile information, and anything else you post, collectively “User Content”). You represent that you have the right to post it and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.

4.2 License to us

By posting User Content, you grant LimeReach a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service (for example, showing your launch on the board, in search results, or in any promotional material about the platform). This license lasts as long as your content remains on the Service, or as required to comply with legal retention obligations after you delete your account.

4.3 Content standards

You agree not to post content that is illegal, fraudulent, infringing, harassing, or spam, and not to submit a launch you don't have the right to represent. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these standards, at our discretion.

5. Paid listings

We offer optional paid features for a launch, for example an evergreen listing that doesn't expire, referrer/click analytics, or a verified badge. Paid features are described on the Service at the time of purchase and are processed via Stripe. Except where required by law or explicitly stated at checkout, paid listing fees are non-refundable once the paid feature has been applied to your launch. Paid features affect visibility/permanence of your listing as described at checkout; unless stated otherwise, they do not guarantee ranking, votes, or outcomes.

6. Prohibited conduct

In addition to the content standards above, you agree not to:

  • Manipulate votes, comments, or Reach through multiple accounts, bots, or paid engagement
  • Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service without our permission
  • Attempt to bypass the reciprocity gate, rate limits, or any other enforcement mechanism
  • Interfere with the security or normal operation of the Service
  • Use the Service to distribute malware, spam, or unlawful content

Violating these Terms may result in content removal, Reach adjustment, or account suspension or termination.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, at our discretion, with or without notice. Some provisions of these Terms (ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and similar sections) survive termination.

8. Third-party services

The Service uses Google, GitHub, Stripe, and other infrastructure providers to operate. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms. We aren't responsible for the availability or practices of third-party services.

Launches on the Service link to third-party products and websites we don't control. We aren't responsible for the content, security, or practices of those external sites.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, and we don't vouch for the accuracy or legitimacy of any launch submitted by users.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LimeReach will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim arose.

11. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be posted here with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.
